My children amaze me every single day. Not only are they miracles because the Lord kept them healthy and strong despite all of my medical issues during my pregnancy, but they are also more talented than I ever could have expected. My daughter just started her first season of baseball (not softball, but boy's baseball) and she has already gotten a homerun and a triple. She also recently won the Miss Van Buren Petite competition. She was beautiful, but it was her answer to the on stage question that won her the crown. The question was, "What is your favorite toy and why?" Her response was "My favorite toy is my stick horse because I practice on it because one day I want to be a Rodeo Dandy." Audrey showed me the day of the pageant, once again, that she is beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. My son is my sensitive child. After my last surgery, he became my nursemaid; he would check on me every few minutes and would bring me anything I needed. Like my daughter he loves sports, but his real talent is in art. His artwork recently won in the Arkansas PTA Reflections contest against over 1600 other entries. He was so excited when he was honored at a formal luncheon and of course we were extremely proud!
I cry much more now than ever before in my life and others do not understand why I tear up so easily. I cry with joy because I am so blessed. I am blessed that the Lord healed me so I can be here to rear my children and see their accomplishments. I am blessed to be their Mommy!
